Family Dedications

The family is the first place to teach and model for children the ways of God.

Parents are the primary teachers, role-models, nurturers and encouragers of a child. The challenge is that being a family of faith does not always come easily. It takes effort, intentionality, practice, endurance and community.

Partnering with your child on his or her faith-journey with a Family Dedication is a great step.

It is a time of dedication for both the parent(s) and child(ren) with promises and prayers of hopes, intentions and loyalties to God - for the parent(s) as people, as a couple (when possible), and as parent(s) to their child(ren).

It is also a time for the church to agree that it will be a partner to you and your child(ren) by supporting your family through relationships and various programs, and helping you to make your home the primary place for nurturing faith in Jesus Christ.

Essentially, it is a time for the church-family to help dedicate “the families within the family”. Family Dedications are offered for the third Sunday of each month.
