Men's Ministry

Men have a formative role to play in our world. God’s “Goodguys” is a Christ-centred ministry dedicated to empowering and deploying men in Christian service to their family, church, community and the world.

We believe that this growth happens through friendships. As “iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the face of his friend” (Proverbs 27:17). Growth also occurs through discipleship as St. Paul provided to Timothy: “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful men who will be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2).

Prayer Meeting

Every Tuesday 6:30 am - 7:30 am at Bramalea Baptist Church in room A036. If you are able we go out for Breakfast afterwards.

 

Father’s Day Prayer (based on the High Priestly Prayer in John 17)

Father, You gave them to me, and I thank You.
Help me to make them believe and understand that everything
I have been able to provide for our family has actually come from You.
I am praying for them because You have given them to me,
yet I know that they still belong to You.
LORD help me to understand that, to truly see that they are Yours,
and that You are trusting me to care for them.

Holy Father, protect them by the power of Your Name.

Let them have the full measure of Your joy within them.
Show me that it is my responsibility
to make sure that they become as hungry for your Word as I am.
So LORD, give me a passionate hunger for Your Word!

Father, protect them from Satan, the evil one. Make them warriors for You.
LORD, through the truth of Your Word make them holy, set apart for You.
And LORD, to help make all this happen for them,
I ask You to make me holy, as I now determine that for them,
and for You, I will be holy.

Amen.
