Brampton to Terrebonne-Mascouche 2017

J’aime Mon Voisin

What is it?

It is a commitment to engaging in Cross-Cultural Discipleship with youth and young adults from Brampton (Bramalea Baptist and friends) as well as youth and young adults from Quebec (Eglise Baptiste Evangelique Terrebonne-Mascouche). Through our partnership we aim to grow in our relationship with Christ by “learning through doing”.  This means reaching out to our respective communities in practical ways by: serving others, improving our city through community projects; but most importantly, building strong relationships with those who DO know and those who DO NOT know Jesus, with the hope that we can act as a vehicle for His love.

This comes on the heels of a very successful week that we called “Across Queen 2016”. This consisted of approximately thirty of our Brampton young people hosting our partner youth and young adults from Mascouche last summer (2016) as they helped us reach into our community through loving our city.

“J’aime Mon Voisin” translates to “Love My Neighbour” which is what EBETM is challenging their youth and young people to do practically. Our team will work together to make this a reality, all the while inspiring and encouraging young people to do see how the Holy Spirit can work through their lives.
