The New Testament letters open a window into the social, cultural, and practical setting of the first century Church. These letters provide us authentic apostolic teaching for the Churches facing multiple challenges. First and Second Peter are no exception.

Peter in his two letters addresses key issues the first century Christian communities were facing. In this five-week course we will study text in its context - social, cultural, and literary. Our journey will take us from understanding what the first readers of the letter might have understood to what it implies for us today!

Join us to learn how to stand firm in the times of suffering and difficulty, to know how to be pure denouncing false teachings in anticipation of Christ's return.

Dates: Wednesadays, March 10 – April 7, 2021 @ 7:00 pm.
