We're so looking forward to welcoming you all back to our in-person services!  With the health and safety of our entire church family being of paramount importance, and in accordance with government regulations, here's what things will look like beginning Sunday, July 5, 2020 as we reopen the Main Auditorium for live worship.

Please know that there is no pressure for anyone to return to “in person” worship. If you are anxious and do not feel the time is right, or you have concerns because you feel it might put you or a family member at risk, please continue to watch the livestream of the service online at home and return at a time when you are most comfortable. In fact, if you are considered “high risk” should you contract Covid-19 – those 65 and older, or anyone with underlying medical conditions – we encourage you to remain at home and enjoy the service online.

Before you come

We will hold one service on Sundays at 11:00 am.  In order to minimize disruptions and ensure that we have an accurate list of those atending the service, there will be no admitance to the building after 11:10 am.

Due to limited capacity (400 people), we are asking everyone to register in advance for the service.  To register, simply click the "register for Sunday service" button on the home page.  You will be required to register all members of your household who plan to attend.  Out of courtesy to others, please do not register if you are unsure that you will attend. Once we reach our capacity of 400, the doors will be closed.

Before you register, please do a quick self-screening.

Worshippers are advised to stay at home and join us online if;

·       They are elderly or vulnerable (have underlying medical conditions)

·       They have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days

·       They have Covid-19 or symptoms of Covid-19

·       They have had close contact with a probable or confirmed case of Covid-19

The service will be live-streamed on Sunday morning at 11:00 am as per usual for those who cannot attend in person.  The service will also be posted on our website if you are unable to attend or view the livestream.

There will be no child care or youth service. You will be asked to sit with others from your household, and you must keep your children with you, in the auditorium, at all times.  The entire lower level of the building will be closed, as well as the Atrium, North Wing and Gymnasium. Washrooms will remain open for emergency needs only.  As the service is shorter, we encourage you to use the washroom before leaving home.

Protective Measures

Self-Screening: Please follow the self-screening tool mentioned above.  You will be asked screening questions as you enter the building.

Flow of People:  You are asked to arrive 15 - 20 minutes prior to the service so that we can allow entry in an orderly fashion.  When you arrive, please line up on the sidewalk in front of the Atrium.  The sidewalk will be marked for appropriate physical distancing.  Entry will be through the front doors of the building only.

Sanitizing/Cleaning: Our cleaners will clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and common areas including door handles, counters, light switches, faucets, toilet handles, etc. prior to our services.

You will be asked to use hand sanitizer as you enter and exit the building.

Physical contact:  We encourage you to greet each other with a friendly wave or smile!  You will be asked to maintain appropriate physical distancing (2m or more) at all times. We have eliminated the intentional passing of objects such as the offering bags, Communion plates, bulletins, etc. from the service.

Seating:  In order to maintain a minimum of 2 metres between members of different households, every other pew will be blocked off.  We will seat people at the front of the auditorium first, moving toward the back.  Ushers will direct you to specific seats in the auditorium.  A minimum of 2 metres must be maintained between each household in the pews.  We will continue to reserve seating for those with physical challenges and/or mobility issues.

At the end of the service, you will be dismissed moving from the back of the auditorium to the front.  Please be patient to allow people to maintain the proper physical distancing.  When exiting, please move directly through the lobby and outside the building and move clear of the entrances.

Offering:  We encourage you to continue to use online resources for your giving.  If you choose to bring your offering to the church with you, a receptacle will be available when you enter for you to place your offering envelope.

Masks: In accordance with the recent City of Brampton by-law, all people are required to wear a non-medical mask while attending a worship service.  The only exception to this are children under 2 years of age, or those with respiratory or other medical issues for whom it would be problematic to wear a mask.

Whether you join us at the church, or continue to worship from home in the coming weeks, our priority remains the same, to praise and glorify our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail.
