We are excited to introduce to you Pastor John Boyachek, who will be joining the BBC pastoral team as Executive Pastor on September 26, 2023.

Pastor John comes to us with over 28 years of ministry experience. The last 16 years he has served as Lead Pastor in Lindsay, ON at Fairview Baptist Church and led it through various levels of change and revitalization. Over the years, he has served on staff at large size churches very similar to BBC in various pastoral roles.

With a heart for church ministry, John finds joy in coming alongside new believers; jouneying with them in their faith and seeing them use their gifts to impact the Kingdom of God. John enjoys serving and discipling others in ministry and in his new role of Executive Pastor, John will also give pastoral leadership to the discipleship ministry of BBC, as well as our membership and baptisms. His role will include giving leadership to our administrative team and ministry support staff.

In addition to pastoral ministry, John has served faithfully in leadership as a part of our FEB Central (Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches) Board of Directors, as well as the moderator of his regional FEB association, leading them through efforts to plant a church in their area. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Heritage College and Seminary.

John has been married for over 27 years to his wife Sandy and they have three children. Ben is their oldest and is married to Annalyn and they live in Cambridge, ON. Next, Josh is finishing up his program at Heritage. Last, but not least, is their daughter Nelena, who is in her final year of high school. They are planning to move to Brampton in the next few months.

Let's all be in prayer for Pastor John and his family as they make all the necessary plans for moving to Brampton, closing out their time at Fairview Baptist Church and starting into a new season of ministry here with our BBC family. To God be the Glory!
