We're very excited to welcome you all back to our in-person services!  The Ontario Government is allowing churches to reopen with limited capacity as of Sunday, June 13, 2021.  Here's what things will look like beginning this Sunday as we reopen for in-person worship.

Please know that there is no pressure for anyone to return to “in-person” worship.  This is a personal choice and we respect your decision if you prefer at this time to watch the livestream from home.  The service is also posted on the website if you are unable to attend in-person or watch the livestream.

Before you come

We will hold one service on Sundays at 11:00 am.  We want to ensure that you have a spot to worship, so - due to limited capacity (250 people) - we are asking everyone to register in advance for the service.  To register, simply click the "register for services" button on the home page.  You will be required to register all members of your household who plan to attend.  Registration closes at 11:00 pm on the Saturday prior to the service.  Out of courtesy to others, please do not register if you are unsure that you will attend.

Before you register, please do a quick self-screening.

Worshippers are advised to stay at home and join us online if;

·       They have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days

·       They have Covid-19 or symptoms of Covid-19

·       They have had close contact with a probable or confirmed case of Covid-19

At the service

Currently, we are offering only the worship service "in-person" on Sunday mornings.  Your entire family is however, more than welcome to attend the worship sevice together.  The lower level of the building, the North Wing and Gymnasium remain closed. Washrooms will remain open for emergency needs only.

Protective Measures

Self-Screening: Please follow the self-screening tool mentioned above.  You will be asked a few questions as you enter the building.

Entry/Flow of People:  When you arrive, please enter through the Atrium doors only.  If there is a line up to be checked in, please observe appropriate physical distancing.  Doors will be open at 10:15 am.  We ask that you arrive at least 15 - 20 minutes prior to the service so that we can allow entry in an orderly fashion.  To eliminate distractions and ensure we have an accurate record of those attending the service, entrance doors will be closed at 11:10 am.

Sanitizing/Cleaning: Our cleaners will clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and common areas including door handles, counters, light switches, faucets, toilet handles, etc. prior to our services.

Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the entryways and lobby area.  You will be asked to use hand sanitizer as you enter and exit the building.

Physical contact:  We encourage you to greet each other with a friendly wave or smile!  You will be asked to maintain appropriate physical distancing (2m or more) at all times, except of course with members of your own household. We have eliminated the intentional passing of objects such as the offering bags, Communion plates, bulletins, etc. from the service.

Seating:  In order to maintain a minimum of 2 metres between members of different households, every other pew will be blocked off.  A minimum of 2 metres must be maintained between each household in the pews.  We will continue to reserve seating for those with physical challenges and/or mobility issues.  Ushers will assist you with finding seating if necessary.

At the end of the service, please do not linger in the auditorium.  When exiting, please move directly through the lobby and outside the building via the main doors. Please move clear of the exterior doors.  Please be patient to allow people to maintain the proper physical distancing as they exit.

Offering:  Thank you for your continued support for the ministry of BBC!  We encourage you to continue to use online resources for your giving.  If you choose to bring your offering to the church with you, a receptacle will be available when you enter for you to place your offering envelope.

Masks: In accordance with the recent City of Brampton by-law, all people are required to wear a non-medical mask while attending a worship service.  Your mask must remain in place at all times while you are in the building.  The only exception to this are children under 2 years of age, or those with respiratory or other medical issues for whom it would be problematic to wear a mask.

Whether you join us at the church, or continue to worship from home in the coming weeks, our priority remains the same, to praise and glorify our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail.
