How long I have been at BBC and what I do:I started in Feb 2018. I serve as the Equipping Pastor. I am committed to God given task of discipleship training.
A couple of things you would not know about me: I have travelled to all states of India (except J&K) for ministry purposes. My longest one way journey was 54 hours in a non-AC Indian Train, of course in Indian summer! Cricket…I was a fast bowler, I used to bowl at the speed of 136 km/hr. Once I broke two stumps while bowling to a good batsman! I, along with a friend, produced three evangelistic musical dramas to reach out to people of other faiths.
A bit about my family: Isn’t it wonderful to have double blessings…godly parents and a godly wife! Joyce is an amazing companion and a great gift from God! We have two vibrant sons Onyx and Beryl. Onyx is a Physiotherapy intern at Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, India and Beryl is a fresh-man at Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo.
Favourite thing to do to relax: I enjoy God’s creation with my family and friends, be it walking in the woods, playing at a beach or observing night sky. Above all I enjoy experiencing God’s presence through worship and prayer with my family and friends.
Passage of the Scripture I am drawn to: One of my favourite passages is Philippians 2:5-8. Because it challenges me to have the mind like Christ and follow his example of perfect humility and love in my life and ministry.
Hopes and dreams for BBC: That BBC would be a community firmly rooted in Christ and his words, standing strong against all the schemes of the devil, and being a community of Love drawing multitudes to Jesus Christ.
