How long I've been at BBC and what I do: I joined the team here at BBC in September of 2006. I work with the Lead Pastor to provide vision and leadership to enable BBC to fulfill its misison, particularly as it relates to our leadership teams. I also serve as part of the preaching team.
A couple of things you wouldn't know about me: Hmm...in my years before ministry I was a freelance performer in Opera, Symphonic Work and Music Theatre and had a blast playing Monsieur Andre for three years in the Canadian National Tour of Phantom of the Opera. I have been to every province in this beautiful country that we call home. I would gladly wear shorts all year round (even outside) if my wife would let me.
A bit about my family: God blessed me with an amazing wife Lisa. She is a wonderful life partner, an incredible mentor and friend to others, and a great singer and teacher. We have two terrific kids, married to equally terrific people and are a doting Nana and Papa to our beautiful grandkids. We also have a four-legged family member, Figaro, a Shih Tzu/Schnauzer cross who keeps us on our toes!
Favourite things to do to relax: Hanging out with my family (they rock!), reading, chilling by a lake, spending time with friends, fun stuff like zip-lining occasionally to keep it interesting!
A passage of Scripture that I am drawn to: There are so many...I think if I were to choose only one, it would be Psalm 139. It helps to centre me and to remind me of the awesome God I serve and how intimately he is involved in every facet of my life.
Hopes and dreams for BBC: My hope is that we would be people who are truly and unashamedly passionate in expressing our love for Jesus and that we would be sold out to his cause. My dream is to see God work through us in his power in such a way that thousands in our community would know Jesus and his incredible love!
