Guys, join the BBC IronMen on Saturday, May 10 at 8:00am in the Lower Auditorium for a hot breakfast, time of worship and prayer and hearing from our own Chuck Ealey. Chuck Ealey, born Charles Ealey on January 6, 1950, in Portsmouth, Ohio, USA. Chuck graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1968 where he won two state championships in football and went undefeated in the process. He attended the University of Toledo on an athletic scholarship and graduated with a BA in Business Education in 1972. Chuck had an undefeated record as Quarterback of the Toledo Rockets and was named MVP of three Tangerine Bowls.

Chuck finished 8th in Heisman Trophy voting as well as being named Mid-American Conference ‘Player of the Year’ in 1969, 1970 & 1971.  He went on to play in the Canadian Football League where he won CFL Rookie of the Year in 1972 as well as winning the Grey Cup that year with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and being named Grey Cup Most Valuable Player. Chuck would be known as the first Black Quarterback to win the Grey Cup. Chuck was a CFL All-Star and played Quarterback not only for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats but also for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Toronto Argonauts.

Chuck was also a football analyst on the CBC as well as a frequent speaker on CP24 Television. Chuck has worked with various charitable organizations including the Arthritis Society, Foodpath and Connecting Point Children’s Services just to name a few. He has spent the last six years at Bond as a Customer & Employee experience Coach supporting their clients with their CX transformation.

Chuck is married to his wife Sherri of 50 years and has 3 children and 6 grandsons and is a member of Bramalea Baptist Church.
