Join us for a night of prayer and worship as we conclude our 30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim world!

As millions of Muslims are nearing the end of Ramadan, let us intercede for them through prayer and worship so that their eyes may be opened to the hope and salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

Ramadan is a sacred practice for Muslims all over the world. It is a period of fasting and spiritual growth and is one of the five “pillars of Islam” – the others being the declaration of faith, daily prayer, alms-giving and the pilgrimage to Mecca.

Ramadan is observed in the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and lasts either 29 or 30 days, from the sighting of the crescent moon to the next.

The prevailing belief among Muslims is that it was in the final 10 nights of Ramadan that the Quran was first revealed to Muhammad.

The Night of Power (Laylat-al-Qadr) is the most sacred night of the Islamic calendar. The prevailing belief is that it is during this night that the first verses of the Quran was revealed to Muhammad. This night falls within Ramadan’s final 10 days and is commonly thought of as the Holy month’s 27th night. The Night of Power is considered as a night of great reward and significance. On this night, believers are encouraged to devote themselves to worship and prayer.

As Christians, we are called to share the love of Christ to Muslims. God loves the world and he wants everyone to know his son Jesus as the Saviour (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 2 Corinthians 5:18-19). God also commands us to love our neighbors (Matthew 22:37-39). Muslims are our neighbors, and one of the ways that we show our love is to pray blessings for them and their community.

As the Muslim world observes the Night of Power, we invite you to gather as Christ’s community on April 5, from 7:00-9:00pm to pray and bless them. We will pray that they will know Jesus, our Saviour.

Let us come together for a night of worship and prayer.
