Human Trafficking: A special presentation for BBC Families

The BBC Family Life, Youth, Young Adult and Local Mission Ministries have partnered together to invite you to join us online to learn about the sad reality of human trafficking in our community, and how you can help prevent it from happening to our young ones.

According to Constable Joy Brown of the Peel Region Police's special task force on human trafficking, being diligent and knowing what signs to look for are imperative in keeping our children and youth safe from this very real danger - which may start as something seemingly innocent online.

The heartbreaking truth is that 62% of all human trafficking in Canada occurs in the GTA, with Peel Region making up a signifcant part of that percentage.  And 63% of all victims of trafficking in our country are Canadian citizens.

Please join us online for Constable Brown's presentation of how to protect our loved ones, followed by a Question & Answer time.  Let us stand for everyone's right to dignity as God's image bearers!
