Due to the rise of Covid-19 cases, as of 12:01 am on Monday, November 23, 2020, Peel Region has been put into a lockdown by the Ontario Government. The lockdown will last a minimum of 28 days. What does this mean for us as a church?
Gatherings for religious services, including worship services, are strictly limited to ten people or less. As a result, beginning Sunday, November 29, 2020, our worship service will be online only. To access the livestream of the service, simply click the "watch online" button on the homepage of our website.
Programming for all age groups will move online as of Monday, November 23, 2020. We will continue to strive to provide quality programming online for you and your family. For information on specific programming, please check the appropriate page on the website.
The Church Office will remain open to staff only during this time. The Staff Leadership Team will continue to be available to meet with you virtually via Zoom or by telephone. To get in touch with any of the staff, please call the church office, or reach out via e-mail.
Needless to say this has been a difficult season, and these developments are disappointing. We must bear in mind however that they are temporary and for the health and wellbeing of Peel residents.
During this difficult season, let us keep in mind the words from Joshua 1:9, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Our God is with us and He is for us. May we continue to trust in Him and continue to seek to reflect His glory to a broken and hurting world.
Thank you all for your continued support in prayer, and generosity in giving during these uprecedented times. It is very much appreciated.
In Christ,
Patrick Timney, Executive Pastor
