How long I've been at BBC: I've been at BBC since June, 2009. I serve now as the Care Ministries Pastor.
Under Care Ministries we have different care groups that are available for hurting & broken people.
A couple of things you wouldn't know about me: My forefathers from my dad's side of the family were Canaanites who immigrated to India and were fishermen by trade. As far back as I can trace the family changed their trade from fishermen to "fishers of men". I also find great fulfillment in seeing broken lives made whole again.
A bit about my family: My husband's name was Verghese Thomas and he was my best friend. He passed away suddenly when we were on vacation. My son's name is Jeremiah and he is currently following God's Call on his life and preparing himself for pastoral ministry/ church planting and has finished his MDiv at Heritage Bible College. We also have a small dog and her name is Sandy. She is so adorable and spoiled by all of us.
Favourite things to do to relax: I love to go to the spa and also enjoying sitting on a beach listening to the sound of the sea and the waves against the shore.
A passage of Scripture that I am drawn to: I love Ehpesians 1:17-23 where the Apostle Paul asks the Father to give us wisdom so that we can understand the full depth of the life we have in Christ.
Hopes and dreams for BBC: My hope is that the Lord will be lifted up and that He will draw all people in Brampton unto himself. That we would be a church that reflects and manifests the power of our Lord Jesus Christ through the working of his Spirit and a church that demonstrates mercy and compassion to people who are hurting and in need of hope.
