At Grow Zone Kids Church, we teach age-appropriate Bible lessons, participate in musical worship, and are challenged by our leaders to memorize Scripture.

We have 6 classrooms: Nursery, Preschool, Kindergarten, Grades 1-2,  Grades 3-5 and Grow Zone Friends (low-sensory room). We teach from the Gospel Project Curriculum. Each group is taught the same lesson each week but it is adjusted for each age-group. These children are encouraged to memorize the same memory verse for every 3-5 weeks.
Nursery & Preschool (0-3 yrs. old):
These rooms are adjoined and parents are welcome to stay with their kids until they get adjusted. We give pagers to new families so that we can notify you easily. We livestream the service in our Nursery every Sunday. We have a diaper changing station, private breastfeeding corner, lots of toys, and amazing volunteers who are happy to serve you and your little ones.
Elementary (Kindergarten - Grade 5):
These children sign into their individual classrooms, participate in musical worship as a big group, and then go back to their classrooms for their age-specific lessons. They are given activity sheets each week that relate to the lesson and have their memory verse attached to practice at home. Their amazing teachers prepare crafts and games for them to help understand the lesson.
Grow Zone Friends (Kindergarten - Grade 5)
Grow Zone Friends is for any family who has children with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. This ministry takes place in our Space Room, which is a low-sensory, interactive room.

At this time, this room is not staffed by Grow Zone volunteers. Parents/caregivers are required to stay with their children. The service is live-streamed in the room each week. Children are always welcome to come to Kids Church at any point in the service with their buddy. This room simply provides an alternative option for parents and children to build community as they listen to the service each week.

We are praying to grow this ministry and provide Grow Zone volunteers in the years to come. Please pray for more people to partner with us as we seek to reach every child for Jesus.
Each week we post a weekly family activity on our Instagram account and on the church website so that families can interact with the lesson throughout the week.

We're on break until fall 2025!

KINS KIDS is a free and safe place for children to come each week to have fun, make friends, and explore big questions about life and faith. KINS stands for Kids in the Neighbourhood. All children from Grades 1-5 are invited as we play games in the gym, make crafts, build friendships, and learn about Jesus! We provide a school bus for pick up/drop off from the Knightsbridge apartments.
Registration is required to attend. Bring a friend or 5 and get ready to party with a purpose!

Summer 2025

We offer three Summer Camp Opportunities for children.

Sonsational Day Camp provides a full day, week long camp experience for kids finishing Junior Kindergarten-Grade 7.  Come and join us for Bible lessons, games, crafts, park adventures, snacks, and great memories. Sonsational Friends is also available for children with physical and/or intellectual disabilities.

KINS CAMP (previously VBS) is a week-long, half-day camp experience kids finishing Junior Kindergarten-Grade 7. Busing is provided for our Knightsbridge community.

Camp Rokhawah offers an immersive overnight camp experience for children finishing grades 1-7. Activities include but are not limited to: swimming, kayaking, archery, crafts, sports, cabin time, and more! This week-long camp is 50 years old and is designed to nurture and cultivate life-long friendships, incredible memories, and faith in Jesus.

Christmas Choir
Every Christmas season our amazing Grow Zone children lead the congregation in musical worship with a few songs. They practice for 10 weeks starting in October, after Thanksgiving. Children must be in grades 1-5 to participate. Rehearsals take place every Sunday at 9:00am for children who are registered  and they are led by our incredible Choir Director and volunteers. 
Family Dedications
If you are interested in dedicating your child, we would love to walk you through this process. Please note that all families requesting child dedications must be members of the church and fill out a form.
