Illuminate is our Senior High Ministry for students in Grades 9–12. We exist to equip a generation to know Jesus, follow Him fully, and live on mission. Through weekly programs, discipleship, and in-depth Bible study, students are invited into a journey of faith that’s authentic, rooted, and transformative. Whether you're exploring faith or ready to grow deeper, there's a place for you here.

Where Faith Gets Rooted

IGNITE is our weekly discipleship program focused on small group community, worship, and team-building. Students deepen their relationship with Jesus, engage in real conversations, and develop leadership skills that equip them to live on mission with groups of students in their similar life stage.
This is where students move from interest to intentional discipleship, learning how to walk with Jesus every day!

Where Faith Gets Grounded

Illuminate Studies is a space for students to dig deep into the Bible, wrestle with truth, and grow in biblical literacy. Through group discussion, teaching, and mentorship, students are equipped to think theologically, live faithfully, and develop a solid foundation for their faith.
This is where students are rooted in truth and shaped for a lifetime of following Christ.

If you feel called to walk alongside high school students in their faith journey, we’d love to talk.

High school can be overwhelming—questions about identity, purpose, faith, relationships, and the future are at the center of every student’s world. Many are searching for meaning. Many feel unseen.

In Illuminate, we believe this is one of the most critical times to introduce students to the love of Jesus and to walk with them as they grow into who God created them to be.

Illuminate exists to equip a generation to know Jesus, follow Him, and live on mission, and we do that through intentional leadership, authentic relationships, and spaces where teens are known, loved, and challenged to grow.

We’re looking for leaders who want to be more than chaperones. We’re looking for mentors, disciple-makers, and consistent, caring adults who will help students see that they belong and that their life matters in God’s story.
Ways to Serve with Illuminate

(All roles are for individuals age 18+)

• Apprentice Leader – Help run games, check-in, snacks, or simply be a welcoming presence at Rise, Ignite, or Illuminate studies meeting times as you prepare to be a leader
• Leader – Build consistent relationships with students through fun, conversation, and leading small group devo discussions at Rise, Ignite, or Illuminate studies meeting times
• Leadership team – this team consists of two Leaders per touchpoints to lead the Illuminate ministry. 
  • These leaders:
    • Meet monthly to plan, evaluate, and pray over the ministry
    • Coordinate cross-touchpoint efforts (Sunday Studies, RISE, IGNITE)
    • Are appointed by the Senior High Associate and/or Pastor
    • Represent their ministry touchpoint at the ministry-wide leadership meetings

You don’t have to be perfect—you just have to be present.
