1. How are you growing and applying what you’ve learned since your last group gathering?

2. In Matthew 25:14–15 ESV, Jesus says: “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property. To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away.”
What do we learn about the master’s trust and provision to his servants in this passage?
3. Pastor David said that the talents were “shockingly high” in value. In light of Matthew 25:15 ESV, why does Jesus use such an abundant image, and what does this reveal about God’s blessings to us?

4. In Matthew 25:19 ESV it says: “Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them.”
Pastor David said this shows that Christ will one day evaluate our faithfulness. How does this connect with 1 Corinthians 3:13 ESV (“each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it”)?
5. The third servant in Matthew 25:24–25 ESV offered excuses instead of service. Pastor David said, “When we meet the Lord there will be no excuses.” How does this warning reflect James 2:17 ESV: “So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead”?

6. Pastor David said that giving involves “Time, Talent, and Treasure.” In light of Matthew 6:21 ESV: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”—what practical step could you take this week to invest one of these areas into Christ’s Kingdom?
7. Wrapping up the whole sermon: Pastor David emphasized that “saving faith is serving faith.” Considering Matthew 25:23 ESV (“Well done, good and faithful servant... Enter into the joy of your master”), how can your daily life reflect a faith that not only believes but actively serves until Christ returns?
